One can nearly set your fall clock by my sinuses. But this year it isn't entirely their fault.
I had to have an errant tooth pulled, one that I've been babying for over five years (I even had it tended to out at Josh & Kristene's once). When the little darling decided to throw a hissy fit and get absessed this past week I finally decided the relationship was going nowhere. Dad was home then still and he encouraged me to get it extracted while he was around to handle any mishaps.
I was fine when he left two days later.
Then, as he drove away my sinuses erupted under the pressure of the additional garbage my head had produced. It was only a matter of hours and I was down on the couch. That didn't make much difference because it is my bed right now anyhow!
Poor Jenn and Taylor are virtually stuck here because of their car debauchal (Hitting the deer and the ensuing fix-it mess) Anyhow, nearly 2 weeks later, they are crossing their fingers and toes that they will be able to pick up the Jeep tomorrow and get it packed up. Hopefully, barring any further complications, they will be able to set off early Tuesday morning.
They had to call various people and beg extra sick days, vacation days and borrowed days to extend their time off. Poor Jenn is climbing the wall, as her school makes HER pay for subs after all that stuff is used up! Taylor is just plain up a creek without a paddle. I really feeling bad for their dilemma. Taylor wants to rocket back over the Colorado Rockies (on I-76) to cut time, so everybody pray for their having excellent weather and a quick trip back.
I am much better, but still hacking about. Sorry that I'm such a sickly old stick.... just don't make plans for me in the fall...please. ps...send kleenex and nyquil donations at will!

Ooo, sorry about the tooth. Maybe that'll help your sinuses? It's all connected somehow. I hope you're feeling better. I've been making a lot of soup lately and it sounds like to need some too. Call me if you get bored!
i hate teeth issues. i'm sorry you're feeling under the weather. i hope you're back to business as usual soon!
Sorry you're feeling tired & sick & all around yucky. But I won't send you Niquil, I'll send you a dozen Valencia oranges! Put a lemon in your water, eat an apple for lunch, & an orange for breakfast. :)
hope you feel better soon,
thanks for the call yesterday
Remember when Dad discovered Maggie downing Nyquil to help her sleep? I think she was in high school. Silly girl.
Hope you recover quick! With lots and lots of Hugo ready energy! Maggie recently wrote on my blog that he is the original Max (from Where the Wild Things Are you know) and I think she's onto something. So, um, Good luck Grandma Kris!
