Bob and I are getting along pretty well without Dad. He is gone on his tour out east and we are managing things here. I have nearly everything moved. There are just the books and little messes in every room yet to get after, but do-able. Then the cleaning...yuk.
I still have to chase down curtain rods and a toilet paper holder that match my other stuff. But I hate to leave the office for a long daytime trip and I think it can easily wait until Dad returns. Yet, we rather like it here!!
The house is quiet as a tomb! You don't even hardly know when the train goes by. So the overdone insulation is working. The in-floor heat came on the other day and it was really nice. Toasty toes.

looks really nice and cozy. how does bob react to the train?? how is he doing with the new digs?
Hi Kris! This is Kas, Roxi's sis. I check in on your blog every once and awhile and realized, "Hey I could leave a comment, I think Kris remembers me." I've been watching your new home in the making. It's really coming along. It looks very beautiful. You all are quite creative and very handy and crafty! Hope all is well, say hey to Wayne!
Thanks for all your comments, all so positive and encouraging! Bob is doing rather fine. He now has a private trainer (guess who) who accompanies him on his "potty" trips every couple of hours. We have a regular tour we take and it looks like he has a few favorite spots that work quite well.
As for the decorating....we aren't even thinking about that yet.
Looks good, mom. I like the colors you've picked out.
Everything looks great. Glad to see you're settling in ok.
Hope you guys are doing okay. I was going to try to offer our house to you guys for winter time, but it looks like your place might be a little cozier. Hee.
