Everything is waiting....

The insulation (R30 & 36!!) , 2x6's and fancy trusses for the upper flooring are all safely delivered. We are simply waiting for the flooring to be finished and we are in business. The cement truck is being patiently watched for. It should be today, but so far no call. It will be exciting to see the place finally taking shape. It's even fun to walk through the place with it being so wide open and clean. There are a few bats left lurking up in the rafters, but they will leave with all the commotion
of the big trucks.
The windows are ordered and will be another 10 days or so. That's all right because Wayne is heading off to Illinois later in the week. But there is a lot to be doing in the meantime. I am hoping to put two or three raised planters in the back yard very soon. Then I can take advantage of the sales on perennials and move my own extras over there.
The fencing for Bob will also have to be started very soon. The house sits virtually on top of the road and that worries me, because he really knows nothing about roads...say nothing of highways.
So you'll know where I'll be for the next few weeks!
