Lunch is always a hectic time as they need to eat constantly. The two extra mouths are the Carlson boys, as the family can recognize. They can both eat more than is humanly possible...at any given time of the day. You provide...they eat. Hench the sandwich board offering the first day. Ike dove in first. Before anyone else could put their tools down and gather round he had made a triple decker sandwich using 1 whole, and another 1/2, of the 4...only 4 packages of deli meats that I brought up. That worked out to about 1 pound of deli meat on his sandwich alone! Needless to say, "make-your-own" sandwiches were not provided again. And let's not start on the bottles of soda...that they said they never drank caffeine or sugar drinks...that disappeared from the cooler. When the 12 big bottles of water never were touched.....Poor Doug and Joshua and Dad.
